Who may drive. Drivers must be 21 or over and hold a licence they have held for at least a year. Anyone driving the car must be named on the agreement; an unnamed driver invalidates the insurance.
Deposit. A refundable deposit of 300 USD is taken at pick-up. Fuel, traffic fines and any new damage are settled against it, and the remainder is returned once the car has been checked in.
Fuel. The car goes out with a recorded fuel level and should come back at the same level. Otherwise we refill it and charge the difference.
Mileage. Each class includes a daily allowance, shown before you book. Anything beyond it is charged per kilometre at the published rate.
Late returns. There is a short grace period, after which another day is charged. Call the branch if you are running late — extending a booking is easier than settling it afterwards.
Damage and breakdown. Report any incident to the branch immediately. Roadside assistance is included. Damage caused by driving under the influence, off-road use, or by an unnamed driver is not covered.
Cancellation. A booking can be cancelled free of charge before the pick-up time.
These terms are a summary of the rental agreement you sign at the counter, which is the binding document.
